My beginning

Rio de Janeiro - Santos Dumont Airport
There's always a beginning, in every day of life, in every story, in every thread, in every journey...and my beginning has finally arrived!

Life has always a fabulous sense of humour! You can plan things down at the smallest detail, but life will always make fun of your details and will mess up everything.
You have to prepare your luggages, you have to put inside all your hopes, your dreams, your wishes, and also you fears (don´t forget them: they´ll keep your back straight during the walk!). Then you won´t pay attention how it might be happened, but you will forget some of them everywhere and you will change others with new hopes, new dreams...and fears will have finally desappeared.

My beginning was in a perfect Brazilian style!
In Sao Jose dos Campos I watched the final match of the World Cup: Brazilians get completely crazy for soccer, even if it´s not Brazil playing the match. Just to know: people cried in Rio when they were eliminated.
Then it rained cats and dogs and there was a black out..
I ate a mango and drank a cupuaçu and an açai: PURA VIDA!

Well, yesterday I travelled the whole day to arrive in Buzios: a nice place north to Rio that become famous thanks to BB (not Brice Barret, but Brigitte Bardot: sorry Brice!). Today I plan to discover all the beaches, tomorrow I will surf, maybe (Poulette, here sometimes there´s coral reef on the sea bed...it looks dangerous!! Anyway, in Sao Jose I have already met surfing people. I will pop up in a month!).

I don't speak Portuguese and most of Brazilians don´t speak English, so it´s funny how we try to communicate. I have a special appeal on Brazilian elderly women: they give me candies, go looking for water for me (on every bus water bottles are for free). I think it´s the effect of my knitting pins that peep out through my rucksack! Moreover yesterday night, when I arrived at the hostel, I spent an hour speaking with a girl about sewing (only Tita could understand: it´s the charme of a little sewer :) ).

Well it´s not so simple travelling alone when you don´t speak the language. You feel lost and alone more quickly, but I go on seeking my new dreams ;)

Stay you tuned!

p.s. sorry for my English
p.p.s. photos will arrive, maybe :)
